• Pasture Board - $275
Pastured horses graze in paddocks and pastures no smaller than 1 ½ - 2 acres with trees for weather protection. On the south side, horses are grouped in smaller groups, frequently in groups of 2 to 3. For horses that aren’t well suited to herd situations, these groupings work well. All pasture horses are individually seen, fed (up to 1 lb. of Advantage (our standard feed) a day included in boarding price as well as minerals and salt) and checked once daily. As a pasture boarder, you have access to hot/cold wash rack, lighted 50’ round pen, tack room, lounge, temperature controlled waterers, 600 acres to ride on, safe Centaur fence and free choice access to quality grass hay during the winter when pasture is short. Vet and farrier handling services are available at an additional charge.
• Stall Board - $425
Stall board includes hay, shavings, grain twice daily (up to 4 lbs of Advantage (our standard feed) a day included in regular board price), basic minerals and salt, free choice access to grass hay outside during the winter, outside temperature controlled waterers, and routine vet and farrier handling services. Turnout rotates with the seasons, inside during the hot, summer days and the cold, winter nights, but is a standard twelve-hour time period. Blanketing, sheeting and fly mask services are also available, additional costs may apply. A partial list of additional services may be seen on the services page. Special needs will be handled immediately if it is in the horse’s best interest. Stall board provides us better flexibility to handle special situations that may arise such as sunburn, dew poisoning or rain rot, and any lameness issues that may occasionally occur. In a stall, your horse is handled a minimum of twice a day and seen more frequently than a pastured horse.
